Bellator MMA signs #1 Ukranian Fighter Female featherweight Kateryna Shakalova

With Long reigning champion Cris Cyborg, World #1 Contender Cat Zingano, 2x World Boxing Champion Arlene Blencowe and British Judo star Leah McCourt already on the Bellator MMA roster it is clear the promotion has the #1 featherweight division in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts as the UFC only has Amanda Nunes listed and the PFL is struggling to put together a tournament at women’s 145lbs with a roster that Bellator has already passed over with their established division.

Proving itself as the top Mixed Martial Arts promotion for female WMMA fighter at 145lbs, Bellator MMA signed the 7-1 Kateryna Shakalova from the Ukraine who has been a standout fighter on the European MMA circuit for awhile establishing herself as one of the hottest prospects in the sport at only 25 years of age.

Bellator MMA featherweight champion Yaroslav Amos is another Ukraining fighter who is representing the country inside the Bellator MMA cage.  A winner of 6 fights in a row fans can expect a showdown with Shakalova and Cyborg if the submission specialist is able to continue her dominate ways now that she is signed to the #1 promotion for Female Featherweights in MMA.
