Bellator MMA has announced Showtime as the exclusive broadcast partner of live events in the USA, while ESPN Brasil and BBC in Europe making it a truly global event that will trend in sports entertainment. A premium channel in Showtime is now featuring premium MMA fighters with Bellator MMA for the first time since 2010 when Strikeforce MMA was broadcasted on the network.

With Jon Jones moving up to Lightheavyweight and the UFC allowing Middleweight Israel Adesanya to jump up a weight category to fight for the LHW championship belt, many people feel the winner of this tournament will be the best light heavyweight in all of MMA.
