Arrest Warrant issued for Nate Diaz following New Orleans Street Brawl

Nate Diaz recently announced he is going to be stepping into the Boxing Ring for the first time against Disney kid, turned Youtuber, turned Influencer Boxer Jake Paul. Jake Paul who has already defeated MMA fighters Anderson Silva, Tyrone Woodley, and Ben Askren made his first Pro Boxing match against another ‘Professional Boxer’ when he face Tommy Fury the brother of Boxing’s Heavyweight World Champion Tyson Fury. Jake Paul put together a good fight, but ultimately lost a split decision to Tommy Fury.

Nate was in New Orleans to support Chris Avila who won a boxing fight against Paul Bamba who had antiganized the Nate Diaz Academy fighter throughout the lead up to the bout, attempting to slap him at the weight check, throwing a shirt, and other acts meant to antagonize the Stockton Crew. Chris Avila went on to win a decision victory.

Following the fights Nate Diaz and his team met with an instigating crew formed by Chase DeMoor which included a professional boxer (1-0) and BJJ Blue Belt Rodney Petersen who’s claim to fame has been working as a “logan Paul impersonator”. While an arrest warrant has been issued for Nate Diaz, a public statement released from is Lawyer says that Rodney Petersen clearly was the aggressor for pursuing Nate and demonstrating that hew as a trained fighter with clear intentions that required Nate to act in self-defense. It will be interesting to see the results of this event, and hopefully Nate can secure proper security to prevent these incidences of Clout Chasing to continue.
