
Jorge Masvidal the MMA Mega Star has now ventured into the world of Combat Sports promoter with his GameBred Bare knuckle MMA and Gamebred Boxing. The most recent installment of Boxing was broadcasted via PPV and featured a huge host of MMA stars crossing over into their professional boxing debut.
The event which took place just outside of Milwaukee Wisconsin was headlined by former UFC Champion turned PFL fighter Anthony Pettis facing off against Boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. Jones who was world unified heavyweight boxing champion in 1999 unifying the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles. Now 54 years old, Jones showed glimpse of the speed, athleticism, footwork, and explosiveness that made him one of the greatest fighters of all time. Pettis who is 36 years old has gone 1-4 since leaving the UFC looked impressive in his pro boxing debut and competing at a higher weight class.
Luis Feliciano remained undefeated as did Dein Cushing, while MMA stars Jose Aldo and Jeremy Stephens battled to a majority Draw with Robert Hecko being the one judge calling the fight in favor of Aldo 58-56. UFC legend Vitor Belfort went on to pick up a decision victory over former Strikeforce champion Jacare while a battle of WMMA standouts took place between Vietnamese American fighters Bi Nguyen and Andy Nguyen with Nguyen picking up the Decision victory.
