Fans of Cyborg Nation will be familiar with the name of Forrest Molinari as ‘The Snowbear’ was a part of Cris Cyborg’s training camp for the record 5th promotional MMA Championship when she won the Professional Fighters League Championship against Larissa Pacheco at the PFL Super Fight PPV recently held in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
Cyborg who scored 4 out of 5 takedowns to secure an easy 4-1 decision over Larissa Pacheco following 5 rounds of action gave a lot of credit to Forrest Molinari who spent several weeks in California helping Cris prepare for the fight. Molinari who is a 3x Pan American Wrestling Champion and a World Wrestling Bronze Medalist went on to win her first professional MMA fight last week in Las Vegas.
Molinari who is a member of the MMA Lab in Phoenix Arizona made her professional debut on the BORROKA fight card Nov 22nd and faced a tough MMA veteran in Brigid Chase who 5-2 as a pro heading into the fight with an amateur record of 4-2 giving her 14 MMA fights when combining her Pro and Amateur record.
Despite the difference in experience fighting, Molinari showcased great ring control as she spent a good amount of the fight striking and grappling in route to a very lopsided victory with score cards of 30-27, 30-26, and 30-25 giving her the unanimous decision in her professional debut.
