This last UFC event was crazy and had some amazing fights that even broke some records, like the fight of Michael Chandler vs. Justin Gaethje who won the record of most significant strikes landed in one fight with the result of 1,973. Another fight that had amazing results, some expected some not were the fight of Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Convington who sadly took the L home after a very tough fight against Usman who won by decision in the fifth round. Also, the fight of Rose Namajunas vs. Weili Zhang was won by Namajunas which was also won by decision after a tough and super close fight. Another fight that was well spoken about was the fight of Frankie Edgar vs. Marlon Vera which was won by a KO of Marlon Vera in the third round.
The fight of Rose Namajunas vs. Weili Zhang was one of the fights that were well talked about due to both fighters being amazing and great athletes and having a super close fight. Rose Gertrude Namajunas is an American professional MMA fighter. She is signed to the UFC where she fights in the women’s strawweight division and is a two-time and current UFC Women’s Strawweight World Champion. She has a record of 11-4 and has beaten multiple girls like Michelle Waterson, Jessica Andrade, Tecia Torres, Paige Vanzant, Angela Hill, and many more. Most people would agree that Weili was one of Namajumas toughest opponents due to her almost perfect record of 21-2, she has also fought many huge girls before like Jessica Aguilar, Tecia Torres, Jessica Andrade, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and many more.
The other fight that was well talked about was Usman vs. Covington 2. Kamarudeen “Kamaru” Usman is a Nigerian-American professional MMA fighter, former freestyle wrestler, and graduated folkstyle wrestler. He currently fights in the welterweight division of the UFC where he is the reigning UFC Welterweight Champion with a record of 20-1 after defeating Convington for the second time last Saturday. Colby Convington last faced Usman in 2019. Colby has a record of 16-3 now after taking the L to Usman on November 6th and has fought many huge name fighters before like Max Griffin, Demian Maia, Rafael Dos Anjos, Robbie Lawler, Tyron Woodley, and many more. Colby Ray Covington is an American professional MMA fighter who is also currently fighting in the welterweight division of the UFC, where he is a former Interim UFC Welterweight Champion.
