Thug Rose made the move up to flyweight and 125lbs for a chance at a ranked opponent in Brazilian national Judo player Amanda Ribas and after 5 rounds of action proved she is a contender in the new weight class by securing a very impressive dominant performance over the surging Brazilian fighter in Ribas.
12-6 overall rose suffered a decision loss to Fiorot back in 2023 and a split decision loss to Carla Esparza in 2022 which gave her the first back to back losses in her career. Rose use incredible distance and time management to secure the victory with efficient and powerful strikes. In the 2nd fight of the night Igor Da Silva bit Andre Lima resulting an in disqualification and an immediate release from the UFC.
Those with impressive performances included Julian Erosa securing a guillotine choke over Ricardo Ramos in the 1st round, Youssef Zalal grabbing a RNC victory over Billy Quarantillo and Edmen Shahbazyan getting the KO against AJ Dobson. Payton Talbott secured a TKO over South African Cameron Saaiman.
Cris Cyborg makes her return to the sport of professional boxing April 27th as the main event of Green Bay Fight Night in Green Bay Wisconsin. Currently 2-0 as a professional in boxing she will be facing a fighter from the Midwest with similar experience in her 3rd professional boxing fight. The bout is scheduled for 4 rounds of 2 minutes.
