Roger Huerta had not fought in almost 3 years but that did not stop him from making his return to the cage at PFL Europe 3 against Scottish MMA legend Robert Whiteford. Huerta who one was a red hot 6-0 in the UFC before contract disputes led to his exit from the company moved to 3-14 in his last 17 fights with the decision loss to Whiteford.
Previously signed Bellator MMA Huerta left as a free agent to One Championship where he went 2-3 before returning to Bellator MMA where he has had a 1-6 record. Saturday’s fight was his first for the PFL where he is now officially 0-1.
PFL Europe 3 featured the retirement fight of Stevie Ray who picked up the 1st round Twister submission. Mark Ewen, L. Mcgrillen Evans, A. Luster, Florim Zendeli, Daniele Miceli, Jakub Kaszuba, Connor Hughes, Shanelle Dyer, P. Wisniewska, L. Parente, M. Zharovs, and Gemma Auld also picked up wins on the event.
Cris Cyborg gets set to make her PFL MMA debut with the PFL Super Fight Series where she will face 2X PFL Tournament champion Larissa Pacheco in a Co Main Event with Francis Ngannou Vs Renan Ferreira in Riyadh Saudi Arabia live on ESPN+ and DAZN MMA PPV.
