Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans set to Box in Albuquerque New Mexico

While no date was announced, the site of Albuquerque New Mexico was announced as the place where Rampage Jackson will rematch Rashad Evans, only this time it will be inside the boxing ring instead of the cage. The two had previously fought in 2010 when Rashad Evans picked up the 3 round decision at UFC 114.  Both Rashad Evans and Rampage Jackson have  been UFC Light heavyweight Champions.

The promotion took to social media to announce that Influencer Cross Over Series will be putting the Ultimate Fighter TUF 10 Coaching rivals against one another in a Boxing fight as the main event of ICS Mania 1.  Rampage last fought in 2019 when he faced Fedor Emelianenko at Bellator 237 in Japan a fight where he suffered a KO loss.

Rashad Evans last fought in 2022 where he picked up a decision win over Gabriel Checco at the Eagle FC event following a 5 fight losing streak in 2018 which caused his UFC departure. Both Rampage and Rashad shared a poster advertising the upcoming boxing fight on their IG accounts.

Cris Cyborg who is a former UFC champion and the current PFL Women’s Featherweight champion is also a top 15 world ranked boxing after crossing over from the sport of MMA in 2021 where she won the South of Brazil Boxing Championship defeating Simone Silva over 8 rounds of action to take home the FMS Championship belt.
