Did Claressa Shields fail a drug test after her last Boxing fight?

Rumors started late last night on X, formerly Twitter as Boxing insider Rick Glaser took to the platform to let it be known that there was a flagged substance from a drug test administered after Claressa Shields fight, further going into a rumor of which he had heard it could be PED related.

Later rumors of a possible “marijuana” violation started to circulate as PED expert Vitor Conte of SNAC supplements and a former BALCO Laboratory founder posted that the commission had done a mouth swab test post fight which revealed traces of Marjiuana which is currently regulated as performance enhancing in Michigan. So far there has been no official announcement from the commission in Michigan although Claressa Shield’s ‘Box Rec’ signifies indefinitely suspended. MMA fans will remember the NSAC suspended Nick Diaz 5 years for Marijuana.
