One of the best Kickboxers in the world has started transitioning into the sport of boxing, and after a recent last minute replacement for the World Boxing Super Series tournament against Callum Smith where Holzken lost a 12 round decision, he is back in the win column following a 3rd round KO against Bernard Donfack inside the Baden-Arena in Offenburg Germany.
Holzken who made his K-1 debut in 2006 and in 2007 lost a unanimous decision against Buakawi in the K-1 World Max 2007 final elimination. In 2015 Nikes Holzken competed in a Glory 19 4 man tournament defeating Raymond Daniels via TKO in the 3rd round.
Improving his overall boxing record o 15-1 Kolzken is again in a position of prospect. Many fans thought he fought Callum Smith tougher than his original scheduled opponent would have. Now 34 years Old Holzken could be entering into the prime of his boxing career, which started relatively late for a combat sports fighter with him winning his first fight in 2013.
