Boxing….will do…Boxing Things. Holly Holm put on the performance of a lifetime in front of a sold out crowd in El Paso, Texas for the Most Valuable Promotions as she faced El Paso native Stephanice Han in the Main Event of MVP 03 which was shown live on ESPN. With everyone on ESPN, Social Media feeling Holly Holm was ahead on the scorecards itw as announced that Stephanie Han would be keeping her WBA Lightweight belt. While the crowd cheered for the hometown fighter, many outside of El Paso felt bad for Holly Holm who appeared to be the victim of a case of Boxing’s “Home town Cooking” with a pair of 96-94 score cards and a final 95-95 scorecard teh bout was declared a Majority Decision for Han, her 2nd over Holly Holm.
The fisrt fight between the two was stopped early and went to the scorecards with Holly Holm behind on the scorecards at the time of the decision being read. The second fight Holly Holm immediately shared her displeasure for the scorecards during her post fight interveiw “Honestly I feel like I won that fight. There’s always things even in a win that I can do better, always. We always want perfection but I really feel I won the fight, and taht’s not disrespectin gHan at all. I have a lot of respect for her, it has nothing to do with that I just feel like that fight was mine””
Prior to the scorecards Cris Cyborg tweeted on X “The better not rob @hollyholm” only for her to later re-tweet the post with the comment “Boxing does what Boxing Does”

Cyborg defended her UFC Championship against Holly Holm at UFC 219 in Las Vegas in a fight that was rewarded wtih Fight Of The Night honors and saw Cris Cyborg win 5 rounds of action. Cyborg would later head to Albuquerque New Mexico as part of a training camp as Holly Holm prepared for Kayla Harrison. Holly Holm is an all time legend in Combat Sports having competed in Boxing and becoming a Hall of Fame World Champion before crossing into Mixed Martial Arts winning the LFA and UFC World Championships during her Mixed Martial Arts career before returning back to MMA. With the win Stephanie Han called for a super fight with Katie Taylor who is rumored to be having her retirement fight later this year at Croke Park with a stadium show.
