Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal fought in front of a sold out crowd at the Honda Center in Anaheim California as the two went head-to-head over 10 rounds of boxing which excited the crowd. Diaz who lost to Jorge Masvidal in the UFC for the BMF belt due to a cut that forced the fight to stop, claimed a decision victory in the Boxing rematch.
With scores of 98-92,97-93, and 95-95 Diaz officially moved to 1-1 as a professional boxer with his only defeat a decision to Jake Paul. Following the victory Diaz immediately took the mic saying his main objective is to be the best fighter in the world before calling out Leon Edwards and Jake Paul.
The fight which was fought at 175lbs was a fan favorite as Masvidal appeared to land the hard punches while Diaz continued with a fast work effort. Anthony Pettis who is a former UFC champion was also on the fight card following his Boxing win over Roy Jones Jr. Pettis went on to lose a decision to Chris Avila of NDA Boxing.
