
MMA’s only Grand Slam Champion Cris Cyborg looks closer than ever to signing her professional boxing debut as the current Bellator MMA Champion announced on her weekly Youtube segment with MMA Canada reporter James Lynch. Having won professional championships with Bellator MMA, UFC, Invicta FC, and StrikeForce Cris Cyborg is the winningest fighter in Mixed Martial Arts featherweight history spending nearly 13 years undefeated.
Looking to pursue her first professional boxing fight Cris Cyborg has been rumored to fights against opponents such as Katie Taylor, Cecilia Braekhus, and Claressa Shields. Speaking to Lynch on Sports Cyborg had this to say, “My team already received the contract, we’ve been back and forth working on the contract, I believe soon, we’ll finish and I’ll sign.” Champ went on to say “Then you guys are gonna know who and where is gonna be my next fight. I’m very excited to do my first fight in boing. Very, very excited. It’s one of my dreams.”
