Lerryan Douglas makes weight for DWCS week 5 bout against Cam Teague now official

Fans of Cris Cyborg are familiar with Lerryan Douglas.  After winning the Nacao Cyborg championship belt becoming the south of Brazil champion at 145lbs Douglas moved to the USA where he was an intricate part of Cyborg’s training camps for both Cat Zingano and Larissa Pacheco.

Establishing himself as a fighter on the regional scene in Southern California Lerryan Douglas quickly set himself apart from the other fighters in SoCal due to his exciting striking and aggressive forward style.  Signing with Cub Swanson’s Bloodlines Combat Sports agency Lerryan Douglas would eventually become the LFA interim lightweight Champion before becoming undisputed LFA Champion earlier this year with a win over Elijah Johns back in January of this year.

Riding a 4 fight win streak with all 4 fights coming by way of KO Lerryan Douglas seems to be the latest striker from Curitiba Brazil who is destined for UFC stardom.  The journey for Lerryan Douglas will start tomorrow night when he faces the 12-5 Cam Teague on the 5th week of the 2025 Dana White Contender’s Series.  Cam Teague was on DWCS 2024 losing to standout Kevin Vallejos and after picking up 2 MMA wins and a Boxing victory is back for a 2nd opportunity at a UFC contract.

Lerryan Douglas is a 3:1 betting favorite and as an LFA Champion is coming from a great regional promotion while Cam is from a newer gym with more regional talent than what Lerryan Douglas is facing inside of the Bloodlines Combat Sports training facilities.
