Mike Malott beats Gilbert Burns UFC Winnipeg Canada

UFC returned to Winnipeg Canada for a fight Night headlined by Mike Malott Vs Gilbert Burns and Mallot showed everyone why he is the next generation of Canadian Superstar in the UFC putting Gilbert Burns out at 2:08 of the 3rd round with punches to pick up the TKO victory.  With the win allot has improved to 14-2.  The Co Main event featuredCharles Jourdain against Kyler Phillips with the Bantamweight Jourdain winning a decision following 3 rounds of action.

Canada is a strong market for the UFC with a lot of Mixed Martial Arts fans based in Canada.  Jai Herbert defeated Mandel Nallo with punches at 2:05 of the first round as Nallo a Bellator MMA veteran was making his UFC debut.  Canadian female WMMA standout Jasmine Jasudavicius secured a decision win over Brazilian Karine Silva who earned a decision over Dione Barbosa in her last outing inside the UFC octagon.

Gauge Young picked up a split decision win over Thiago Moises while Marcio Barbosa used his heavy hands to earn a KO win over Dennis Buzukja at 1:20 of the first round. The win also gave Barbosa performance of the night honors.  Robert Valentin picked up a RNC submission over Julien Leblanc while Bellator MMA heavyweight veteran Gokhan Saricam pulled off the upset against Canadian Tanner Boser with a 2nd round TKO.  Pallas Fighting Championship veteran Melissa Croden secured a decision win over Darya Zheleznyakova at Bantamweight.

In a controversial fight JJ Aldrich was given the win over Canadian Jamey Lyn Horth.  In a rare UFC draw fighters John Castaneda and Mark Vologdin both fought to a draw while the opening action on the UFC Winnipeg card saw John Yannis secure a TKO victory over Jamie Siraj.  With the UFC traveling less and less this was an Ultimate fighting Championship event for the Canadian fan market.
