Miesha Tate turned back the clock Saturday night in Austin Texas as she put on one of the most dominate performances she has ever had during her 16 year professional MMA career.
Riding back-to-back losses after making her return in 2021 with a victory over Marion Reneau, Miesha Tate was hearing all the whispers that it might be time for the 37 year old MMA icon to start looking toward retiremend.
All of the talk of retirement stopped Saturday as Miesha put on an absolute clinic against Julia Avila to win via submission in the 3rd round after two 10-8 rounds. With the loss Avila fell to 9-2 overall.
Miesha is now 19-9 as a pro and with the victory, many fans are calling for a Miesha Tate Vs Holly Holm rematch at UFC 300. Will fans get another classic showdown between the two legends??
