With wins in the UFC against Paige VanZant, Angela Magana, Feice Herrig, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Cortney Casey, and Angela Hill the ‘Karate Hottie’ established herself as a house hold name in the sport of mixed martial arts and built herself into a star inspiring an entire generation of new female fighters to take up the sport.
Facing Gillian Robertson at UFC 303 Michelle Waterson showed a lot of heart and determination in her final UFC appearance losing a decision to Robertson who has now won 2 in a row following her defeat to Tabatha Ricci. Waterson a lifelong martial artist is a true testimony to hard work.
