Fan favorite Michel Pereira will be around the UFC at least a little longer after his recent fight contract signing. The “Demolidor” signed a new UFC contract after finishing his previous contract with a win over Zach Reese last February. The Fan favorite will be rerturning June 27th for a middleweight fight against russian Shara Bullet.
The event is scheduled to take place at Baku in Azerbaijan but MMA fighting is reporting that the promotion could pivot from that location given the turmoil in Iran and the US war in the region.
Pereira is a 15 fight veteran of the UFC having won 10 of those appearances but prior ot his most recent win had dropped 3 consecutive fights for the promotion losing to Anthony Hernandez, Abus Magomedov and Kyle Drakaus prior to his win over Reese.
Shara Magomedov also known as Shara Bullet is currently 16-1 in MMA and 5-1 in the UFC and coming off a decision win over Mar Andre Barriault this past July after a loss to Michael Page.
Bruno Ferreira Vs Ikram Aliskerov is confirmed for the UFC Baku card with more fights expected to be announced soon.
