The PFL has said Larissa Paceco is going to fight Cris Cyborg, and Cris Cyborg has said she wants to fight Larissa Pacheco however both fighters have been outside of the cage since 2023. Cyborg who last fought at Bellator 300 when she scored a 1st round KO over Cat Zingano has called for a matchup with Kayla Harrison, Larissa Pacheco, Leah McCourt, and literally anyone the PFL would give her an in attempt to stay active.
Pacheco who was expecting to have a fight offer claims to have trained through Christmas and New Years without receiving any bout offers. the 2x PFL tournament champion went onto X to post a now deleted tweet which said, ”6 months since becoming PFL’s first 2 Division Champion and radio silence from the promotion. Where is my fight with @CrisCyborg? We want it..The fans want it. Where are the PFL?” before tagging both Donn Davis and Peter Murray.

Cyborg went on to reply “Oct. will be 1 year since my last Bellator MMA fight. I have been ready to fight Larissa Paceco and asking for a fight date the entire time. How’s #BellatorSanDieog” using the hashtag of the upcoming Bellator San Diego event.

Pacheco joins Gegard Mousasi, Douglas Lima, and several other top named stars to voice displeasure with their inability to get fights booked.
