UFC Vegas 114 returned to the Meta Apex in Las Vegas with a main event featuring veteran Josh Emmett against the rising sensation Kevin Vallejos. Emmett who had lost for of his last 5 fights was facing the surging Vallejos who has won 6 consecutive fights.
The bout went about as expected as Vallejos jumped on Josh Emmett early and often finishing the fight at 3:33 of the first round via TKO. The Co Main event featured a back and forth as Gillian Robertson continued her rise up the rankings with a decision win over Braizlian Amanda Lemos in a close and competitive fight that showed Robertson grappling as the difference.
Andre Fili suffered a split decision loss to Jose Miguel Delgado while Marwan Rahiki defeated Harry Hardwich via an injury TKO after the 2nd round. Other winners on the card included Ion Cutlaba with a guillotine submission over Oumar Sy and Charles Johnson scoring a decision over the tough Bruno Silva.
Undercard fights included Myktybek Orolbai winning a grappling heavy decision over Chris Curtis, Vitor Petrino in an absolute war with Steven Asplund. Elijah Smith scoring a RNC over Suyoung You and Monoel Sousa with a KO over Bolaji Oki
