The opponent might have been younger, might have had a better professional record, but none of that mattered Friday night at Jake Paul put his right hand on full display scoring a first round KO victory over Andre August who was 10-1 with 5KO’s leading into the fight.
With less than 30 seconds left in the round Jake Paul landed a thudding uppercut that sent August spiraling to the floor head first causing the ref to waive the fight off.
Jake Paul went on to tell reporters that he “set up my shot and he went night night. This is all part the process, the next step to world champion. Clearly these guys can’t hang with me.”
Jake Paul who is signed to the PFL and rumored to have an MMA fight in 2024 has not made any official comment on his next move however there are those that speculate it could be focused on a fight inside the cage.
