Kayla Harrison was back inside the cage for the first time in exactly 1 year last week when she stepped into a catchweight fight against former UFC veteran Aspen Ladd as a feature fight for the PFL Season Final Pay Per View event.  Harrison a former 2x PFL Lightweight 155lbs tournament champion, lost her championship last year to Larissa Pacheco who dropped down to 145lbs to compete in the PFL Featherweight tournament, ultimately winning that tournament and an additional million dollar cash prize in the process.

Judo Kayla who won a decision over Aspen Ladd immediately grabbed the microphone following her victory and said, “PFL just acquired Bellator, I heard there is a girl in Bellator that thinks she’s a bad Bitch, well, why don’t we find out.” Cyborg who is 18 years a professional in the sport seemed less than amused by the callout as she posted a video of herself in Pajamas heading back to sleep after watching it.

Cyborg who is Brazilian, Did not appear to like the adjective “Bitch” being used to describe her, as she later took note of it on Instagram.  When the blog site reached out to her for comment Cyborg had this to say, “I am Brazilian. When you call a Brazilian Women a Bitch you have to fight.  I hope Kayla does not continue to run.”

For Cyborg her immediate attention will not be on MMA but rather the sport of Professional Boxing as she gets set to face the #3 ranked female fighter in the USA Kelsey Wickstrum in a superfight Jan 19th at the Pechanga Casino in Temecula California as the 16x MMA Grand Slam Champion Cris Cyborg makes her return to professional boxing.
