Is Ronda Rousey Vs Cris Cyborg a possibility?

Could fans see the Mega Superfight that many thought escaped their hands when Ronda Rousey retired after back to back knockout losses to Holly Holm and then Amanda Nunes.  While the UFC and Dana White had often promoted Ronda Rousey as the ultimate best in the sport of WMMA, many fans long called for a fight between Rousey and Cyborg.  Following Ronda’s two KO losses the UFC eventually brought Cris Cyborg into the promotion where following two super fights at 140lbs she became the UFC featherweight champion with a win over Tonya Evinger at UFC 314.

Rousey who left the UFC to briefly wrestle with the WWE has not been in professional MMA fight in almost 9 years, however when recent footage of her training in the gym surfaced on the internet many fans have begun to question if the MMA Icon Ronda Rousey could be plotting a return to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.

A Judo Olympian, perhaps Ronda Rousey has her eyes on a possible matchup of the Kayla Harrison Vs Amanda Nunes fight which is speculated to be for the UFC bantamweight belt.  If Kayal Harrison wins, maybe Ronda Rousey would be tempted into fighting a former mentor as Harrison herself is a 2x Olympic Judo Gold Medalist after the success Ronda Rousey had opened doors for her.

Appearing on a recent “The Lapsed Fan Podcast” Ronda said “Never say never” when asked about a possible return.  Taking to social media the champion posted a clip of her hitting pads with notable progress made from when she first made her return into the gym.  If Ronda Rousey returns, it could open the door for a matchup against Cris Cyborg who while 40 years of age is still ranked #1 in the world at 145lbs and has notably said that at this point in her career she could make the bantamweight category of 135lbs.
