Fans of combat sports are excited to see one of the greatest Mixed Martial Arts fighters of all time, Cris Cyborg enter into the ring for the first time to compete as a professional boxer. The only Grand Slam Champion in the sport of MMA after capturing the Bellator MMA, UFC, Invicta FC, and Strikeforce championships, Cris Cyborg is the only fighter in the history of the sport to win every major World Championship in their weight category.
Sunday, Sept. 25th Cris Cyborg will face former Brazilian National Champion Simone Silva for the FMS Super Welterweight professional boxing belt. If Cris Cyborg is able to win the South Brazil Championship she will be the only MMA fighter to ever currently hold a Championship belt in a premier MMA organization and a Boxing organization at the same time. Simone Silva will be no easy task for Cyborg as she is a veteran of over 40 professional fights and almost 300 rounds of professional boxing and has competed for the WBF, WBA, WBC, WBO, Championship belts during her career.
FMS 2 will feature 11 total fights in a mixed MMA, Boxing, and Influencer event. The promotion is being made for a Brazilian Portuguese audience however working with FITE TV fans in the USA will now have an opportunity to watch the broadcast of the event live starting at 10am PST/ 1PM EST.
