
Fans on Cyborg Nation can get a chance to watch UFC Legend Holly Holm make her return to the sport of professional boxing over 12 years since she had her last fight. Holly Holm who had left the UFC and was announced as part of the canceled GFL event that was suppose to take place in LA has pivoted to a top 10 matchup on Jake Paul’s Most Valuable promotions event.
Holly Holm will face the undefeated Yolanda Vegas in a 10 round lightweight bout on the undercard of Jake Paul’s June 28th fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Holly Holm’s fight was announced during a press conference for Jake Paul held in Anaheim last month.
Cris Cyborg who fought Holly Holm in the UFC back in 2017 went on to train alongside her during a visit to Albuquerque New Mexico and Team JacksonWink prior to Holly Holm’s UFC 300 performance against Judo Kayla. Cyborg had this to say about Holly Holm’s return to Professional Boxing, “I think it is exciting. Holly Holm is the only fighter to win a world championship in both the sports of Boxing and MMA. She has never fought in Boxing at 135lbs and I’m excited to see what she will do in that weight class. I would love to see her against the Winner of Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor.
