Heather Hardy is an absolute savage and a legend when it comes to Women in Combat Sports. The Boxing World Champion last lost a decision to Amanda Serrano in a bout for the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC, WBO World Featherweight Championships after wins over Taynna Cardoso and Calista Silgado earned her the rematch against Serrano following her decision loss in 2013.
Hardy already a world champion in Boxing went on to win her MMA debut in 2017 scoring a TKO victory over Alice Yauger at Bellator 180 before splitting losses against Kristina Williams and Taylor Turner with a win over fellow Boing world champion Ana Julaton. Hardy who is a “Fighter’s Fighter” and has had a career of fight of the night performances will now test herself in bareknuckle boxing.
BKFC president David Feldman announced that Heather Hardy would be making her BKFC debut some point later in the year against Christine Ferea the current champion and “most violent female” in the promotion. Cyborg who picked up a KO victory in Temecula CA had Ferea enter the ring and challenge her to a BKFC fight, however the two sides could not come to a deal with the promotion to make the fight happen. Do you think Cyborg X the winner would be an interesting fight? Could you see Cyborg competing Bare Knuckle Boxing like the original Chute Boxe Vale Tudo fighters?
Cyborg ultimately announced she will be returning April 27th as the main event of Green Bay Fight Night in Wisconsin to the sport of professional Boxing. Currently 2-0 in Pro Boxing Cyborg’s fans can purchase their tickets here.
