Yesterday it was announced that Cris Cyborg will have an opportunity to again make history as she will have a chance to become the sports only 5 promotional champion when she faces current #2 ranked female featherweight in the world Larissa Pacheco Oct. 19th.
Francis Ngannou who left the UFC as their Heavyweight Champion when a bout with Jon Jones was unable to be promoted initially signed with the PFL before securing two HUGE SUPERFIGHTS in Boxing where he first lost a very controversial decision to Tyson Fury before following up that performance with a difficult Sophomore return to the sport against Anthony Joshua.
Similar to Cris Cyborg Francis Ngannou who is 17-3 overall in MMA last two fights have occured in the sport of Boxing with this his return to MMA for the first time since Jan 2022. The event which will take place Oct. 19th did not immediately announce location, however PPV broadcast partners ESPN and DAZN have been announced for the PFL MMA Super Fight Division PPV. Ngannou will fight Renan Ferreira who has won 4 fights in a row following a GNP loss to Ante Delija during the PFL 8 playoffs.
