Starting her career with a decision win over Brigid Chase at Borroka 1 Molinari followed up that fight with a split decision loss against Jaeleen Robledo for the RUF female Featherweight world championship. Searching for another fight opportunity for almost a year, A1 combat promoted Forrest Molinari return agaisnt the 2-3 Carlene Chandler who’s older sister Chelsea Chandler is a UFC veteran.
Molinari controlled the fight utilizing a good jab and body punches to help her get her takedowns easier. Winning rounds 1 and 2 Molinari pushed for the finish in the 3rd round officially getting the TKO just 19 seconds into the round accomplishing something both Jaeleen Robledo and Joy Pendell where unable to do by finishing Chandler.
Forrest Molinari has been a part of Cris Cyborg’s training camps for both of her PFL MMA Championship fights including Larissa Pacheco and Sara Collins. After watching Forrest Molinari’s A1 Combat fight Cris Cyborg had this to say, “She is very talented. Great wrestling and you can see since joining Junior at JL Boxing academy that her standup has improved. I look forward to watching her continue climbing the rankings.”
