Feb 1st Boxing is back in Las Vegas with a blockbuster fight as David Benavidez heads to the ring to face David Morell in a fight of bad blood. Benavidez who is a year older at 28 has 11 years f Pro Boxing experience and while both fighters are 6’1 in height it will be Morrell from Cuba with the length advantage of 1 1/2 inches.
The matchup is two heavy hitters as David Benavidez looks to put his 29-0 record with 24 KO’s on the line against David Morrell who is also undefeated at 11-0 with 9 KO’s. Benavidez is the current WBC World Super Middleweight and WBC Interim Light Heavyweight Champion while Morrell is the WBA regular World Light Heavyweight Champion.
Taking place inside the Tmobile Arena in Las Vegas NV the event is guaranteed to be a sellout crowd as Benavidez looks to get closer to a fight with Canelo Alvarez. The fight will air on PPV with PRIME VIDEO in the USA. The WBC World Title at featehrweight is also being foguht as Brandon Figueroa faces Stephen Fulton, Isaac Cruz battles Angel Fierro Jesus Ramos Jr faces Jeison Rosario Mirco Cuello battles Christian Olivo Barredo and Yoenli Hernandez fights Angel Ruiz Astorga.
Cris Cyborg is currently in Las Vegas with head boxing coach Jose Benavidez Sr as she finishes out training camp for an expected upcoming boxing fight yet to be announced.
