Cris Cyborg tours 2nd Ranger Battalion ahead of Boxing Return 1.19.24

Cris Cyborg is currently preparing for her return to the Boxing ring with Boxing Trainer of the year candidate Jose Benavidez Sr out of the Benavidez Sports facility just outside of Seattle Washington.  Cyborg who is currently 2-0 in professional boxing will be facing Kelsey Wickstrum in a 6 round bout as the main event of WFC 163

Cyborg who captured the FMS South of Brazil championship belt in her debut and followed that performance with a victory as the Co Main Event to Terence Crawford’s return to Omaha will be facing a step up in competition when she faces Kelsey Wickstrum.  Wickstrum also an undefeated pro is currently ranked #3 in the USA for Women’s Boxing. Thanks to friend Ryan Shannon, while in Washington preparing for her upcoming fight Jan 19th at the Pechanga Casino in Temecula CA, Cyborg had a rare opportunity to visit the training facility of the 2nd battalion Army Rangers training facility.
