In terms of Star power things don’t get much bigger than the Notorious Conor McGregor. Even though the MMA Star has struggled of late going 1-3 in the sport and losing his boxing match there is no denying he is a huge box office, PPV draw. A former double champion Conor McGregor will face former Bellator MMA Champion and superstar Michael Chandler on the next season of “The Ultimate fighter” before the pair face each other in a main event super fight.
UFC President Dana White announced that McGregor and Chandler will be the coaches for the upcoming season on his social media, however he did not announce a date or a location for the showdown. Rumor’s have started that there is a possibility the bout could take place inside of the Dallas Cowboy stadium in Texas. The 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter will air on ESPN and ESPN + starting may 30th to Aug 15th. The season is rumored to have ‘Prospects’ against ‘Veterans’ for it’s format.
The two will compete at the end of the season in a super fight that will take place at 170lbs. Chandler is a former 3x Bellator Lightweight Champion and came to the UFC as a Free Agent signing in 2021 having already faced many of the promotions top athletes. Chandler has boldly predicted that he will get a win over Conor McGregor by way of stoppage. Who do you think will be the best coach?
