UFC Fight Night 131 is going down inside the Adirondack bank center in utica New York on June 1st and after a bit of prelim action on fight pass will be aired on FS1. As with every event in New York this card is going to be stacked, and the UFC just added another great fight as UFC Veteran Jake Ellenberger will be making his 20th appearance inside the UFC and his 45th professional fight overall against Bryan Barberena who is 4-3 in the UFC and 13-5 overall as a pro in MMA.
For Barberena he will be looking to put together a win after he suffered a loss in his last fight inside the UFC octagon. With losses to Leon Edwards and Colby Covington Barberena wants to show that he is capable of hanging with that quality of opponent, and the first step of doing that will be June 1st against Jake Ellenberger.
For Ellenberger who is coming back after a difficult knock out loss to Mike Perry at UFC Fight Night 108 last April and Jorge Masvidal in December of 2016 he is going to be looking to get back into that same form that beat Matt Brown,Josh Koshcheck, Nate Marquardt, Jay Hieron, Diego Sanches, Jake Shields and so many other named fighters.
