Bellator MMA is back for the first time in 2022 with a great event live from Phoenix Arizona with a fight card of 10 bouts including a Heavyweight unification bout between Bellator MMA heavyweight champion Ryan Bader and interim Champion Valentine Moldavsky.  Bader a veteran of 35 professional MMA fights will look to put a stop to the surging Russian’s 11-1 record in front of his home town crowd.  Former UFC and WEC Champion Ben Henderson will face the 20-1 Islam Mamedov in the Co Main Event.

Feature fights with Henry Corrales against Aiden Lee and Sabah Homasi against former LFA Champion Jaleel Willis feature some of the top up and coming talent in Mixed Martial Arts,   Former Champion and all american wrestler Darrion Caldwell, Saad Awad, Dalton Rosta, and Nikita Mikhailov  will be featured fights with the card also featuring fan favorite Ben ‘Big Tun’ Parrish and the return of UFC Pride FC veteran Chris Brennan’s son, the undefeated Lucas Brennan currently 5-0

Fans who have been expecting a March 11th bout between Cris Cyborg and Cat Zingano, now appear to have to wait for news of Cyborg’s next fight as the champion received an update that Zingano preferred not to have a fight for the Bellator MMA Championship on that date, instead electing for a number one contender spot while Cyborg’s return is shelved until the summer.  Cat Zingano’s previous two opponents are no longer signed with Bellator MMA, who would Cyborg Nation like to see the former UFC contender face in her next bout before an eventual showdown with MMA’s only Grand Slam Champion Cris Cyborg?
