Last week Bellator MMA president Scott Coker announced starting in October Bellator MMA will now be available on the CBS Sports Network, making Thursday Night Fights a new tradition for MMA fans.  Also announced was Bellator MMA’s return to Europe with the Bellator 247 fight card scheduled to take place in Milan Italy and featuring former Cage Rage Champion Paul Semtex Daley in a dynamic matchup against Derek Anderson who has notable wins over Patricky Pitbull, Brandon Girtz and Saad Awad. Both Daley and Anderson have won back to back fights.

Paul Daley last saw action in Oct at Bellator 232 with an early KO of Saad Awad, while Anderson is entering into the fight with wins over Guilherme Bomba and Zak Bucia in his last two bouts.  Daley a former top 5 welterweight with the UFC will be looking to win 3 in a row for the first time in his historic career since 2015.  Now 37, Daley originally from Nottingham has been a showcase welterweight for almost 15 years knocking out some of the world’s most dangerous fighters like; Brennan Ward, Lorenz Larkin, Rudy Bears, Scott Smith, Martin Kampmann, Duane Ludwig, and Daniel Weichel to name a few.

The bouts will be featured on CBS Sports Network and be part of the new Thursday Night Fights Tradition with Bellator MMA.  Be sure to set your DVR now to record Cris Cyborg Vs. Arlene Blencowe at Bellator 249 taking place at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut. Cris Cyborg is the only female fighter to win every world Championship inside of the 145lbs division, having added Bellator MMA champion to her resume which already included Strikeforce, Invicta and UFC Championships.  Fans have speculated that we could see Cristiane Justino Cyborg make her first venture into Boxing–especially with the close network of Showtime Boxing under the Viacom Umbrella.  Who would you like to see Cyborg face in a possible boxing fight?
