Bellator 294 will be free for medical, fire, police, and military personal and is an event specifically to give back to the great community of first responders. The Co Main event features a Heavyweight fight between Tim Johnson and Said Sowma which is guaranteed to keep the Hawaiian crowd on their feet.
An important Women’s Featherweight fight will take place between Sara McMann and Alrene Blencowe which is guaranteed to have influence on the Bellator Featherweight division currently ruled by Cris Cyborg. Danny Sabatello will face Marcos Breno, Levan Chokheli will battle Michael Lombardo, Kenneth Cross will face Killys Mota, Tyrell Fortune returns against Sergey Bilostenniy, Cris Lencioni will battle Blake Smith and the opening bout of the evening will be Anthony Adams against Sharaf Davlatmurodov.
Cyborg who last defended her Bellator MMA Championship at Bellator 279 also in Hawaii had this to say about the event, “Fighting in Hawaii is a magical experience. It is like the birth place of Martial Arts in the west, the fans have such incredible knowledge of what is taking place inside the cage. It’s amazing to me the UFC has never traveled to the islands.”
