The event which was reported on Globo in Brazil has not announced if the bout will continue as a pro bout of if it is going to be ruled an exhibition match. Freitas is one of the best boxers from the country of Brazil and has a record of 41 wins in 43 professional bouts including a remarkable 34 knockouts. A former WBO and WBA Super featherweight champion and a 2x WBO lightweight champion POPO officially retired in 2007 before making returns in 2012, 2015, and 2017.
Popo has been involved in the exhibition matches against influencers under the Fight Music Show which is the same promotion Cris Cyborg won the championship belt for during her professional boxing debut. Under the FMS he has won decisions over Jorge Daniel Miranda and several other influencer type opponents including MMA Vale Tudo legend Pele Landry.
How do you think Wanderlia Silva will do with the new opponent? Do you think the fight should continue as a professional bout or do you think it should be ruled an exhibition bout? Spaten Fight Night 1 featured an exhibition between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen in an uninspiring sparring match which left many fans wanting more.
