
Undefeated sensation Jermall Charlo is was 26-0 with 20 KO’s heading into his undercard super fight with Hugo Centeno who had a record of 26-1 with 14 KO’s. The bout was for the Interim WBC middleweight world title and took place on the undercard of the Adrien Broner vs. Jessie Vargas card which was shown on Showtime boxing.

Charlo came into the fight as a heavy favorite and didn’t disappoint. Even though Charlo was facing an aggressive striker with a 2 inch reach advantage he was able to use his precision striking and defensive skills to showcase is boxing abilities.
The fight wasn’t nearly competitive as the heavy hitter from Houston put in work against Hugo Centeno JR claiming the WBC Middleweight belt with a 2nd round KO over Centeno Jr. After the fight Charlo called for a fight with GGG. Carlo now 27-0 with 21 KO’s has made a claim for the GGG fight with this performance.
