Traveling across the pond Israel Adesanya originally from Nigeria has been living and training in Australia representing City Kickboxing as he has maintained an undefeated record of 12-0 with 12 KO/TKO finishes. The first two rounds of the fight saw Israel Adesanya pick his shots from the outside and dominate a fight that was mostly a kickboxing match from the distance where Adesanya felt the most comfortable. In round three Marvin Vettori was able to secure a few takedowns which made exposed a possible whole in the techniques of Adesanya however without enough grappling exchanges Adesanya was able to keep safe and win a 3 round decision 2 to 1.
