UFC Fight Night 254 Marvin Vettori X Roman Dolidze official

The UFC returns to Las Vegas for UFC Fight Night 254 with a main event of Marvin Vettori against Roma Dolidze who oth weighed in on the scales this morning to make it official at 186 pounds each.  This bout will be a rematch of a fight Marvin Vettori won back in 2023 by decision. The Co Main Event features Elizeu Zaleski against striking sensation Chidi Njokuani.  The weigh ins were not without incident though with Chidi Njokuani missing weight and Diyar Nurgozhay coming in 4.5 pounds over the weight for his lightweight bout against Brendson Ribeiro currently training at the Las Vegas Fight House.  Accepting an increase in fight purse, Ribeiro will still proceed with the bout.

Alexander Hernandez will fight Kurt Holobaugh with Da’Mon Blackshear and Cody Gibson in a feature fight.  Seungwoo Choi will battle Kevin Vallejos after the Preliminary fights on ESPN +  Waldo Cortes Acosta will get a fight against Ryan Spann, AJ CUnningham will face Su Young You, Josias Musasa will fight carlos Vera, Sam Hughes returns against Stephanie Luciano, Daniel Barez fights Andre Lima, Priscilla Cachoeira and Josiane Nunes will fight with the first bout of the night being Yuneisy Duben against Carli Judice.

Fighters who have missed weight, have won a higher percentage of their bouts than they have lost.  Do you think Nurgozhay should have another penalty besides a fee of 25% of his purse for missing weight by 4.5 pounds?  His opponent Brendson Ribeiro made weight and accepted the fight, but should he have?
