Topuria KO’s Holloway in Abu Dhabi UFC Main Event

UFC 308 felt like a passing of the guard as Ilia Topuria KO’d Max Holloway in the main event of UFC Abu Dhabi 90 seconds into the third round.  The fight was back and forth competitive however Max Holloway took the bigger shots eventually giving way to the younger Topuria.

Khamzat Chimaev made quick work of Robert Whittaker while Magomed Ankalaev took Aleksandar Rakic to a decision.  Lerone Murphy gave Dan Ige a decision loss while Sharabutdin Magomedov KO’d Armen Petrosyan with a double spinning back first.

Other winners on the night included Geoff Neal, Mateusz Rebecki, Abusuplyan Magomedov, Kennedy Nzechukwu, Farid Basharat, Ismail Naurdiev, and Rinat Fakhretdinov.  There were no WMMA fights on the event despite the PFL having promoted Cris Cyborg’s World Championship fight at Battle of Giants.
