Boxing just keeps announcing blockbuster fights as the mega Welterweight fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr was finally announced for the undisputed World Championship to take place July 29th in Las Vegas inside the T mobile arena. The fight which reflects PBC’s Al Haymon and CAA’s Ish Hinson was negotiation on for an extended period of time reminding fans of the historic effort it took to finally make Manny Pacquiao against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Both Crawford and Spence will earn 8 figure guarantees and the bout will be promoted by SHOWTIME BOXING which has been carrying the premier boxing PPV for most of 2023. Both fighters will have the option to trigger a rematch within 30 days f the fight, so in essence it is a 2 fight deal for Crawford with PBC.
If there is a third fight will largely depend on the outcome of the first two bouts however either champion is likely to ask for a shot at the undisputed junior middleweight champion Jermell Charlo despite Charlo and Spence both working with trainer Derrick James who is based out of the Dallas Area. This fight will be highly anticipated and is going to be a blockbuster event for both Showtime Sports and Boxing.
