MF Pro Makes U.S. Debut with “Pugilist Revolution” in Long Beach

A new promotional force officially arrives on the American boxing scene as MF Pro stages its first United States event, “Pugilist Revolution,” on Friday, June 19, at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California. Streaming live worldwide on DAZN, the event marks a major expansion for the company following its successful launch in the United Kingdom.

Headlining the inaugural U.S. card is a compelling Southern California showdown between hometown favorite Ashton “H2O” Sylve and former world champion Joseph “JoJo” Diaz Jr. in a scheduled 10-round super lightweight contest. The matchup pits one of boxing’s most promising young talents against a seasoned veteran looking to prove he still belongs among the sport’s elite.

At just 22 years old, Sylve enters the bout with a professional record of 13-1 with 10 knockouts. Cris Cyborg is expected to be in attendance at the MF Pro event taking place in Long Beach.  Currently undefeated while competing as a boxer at 8-0 with 6KO’s Cris Cyborg made Combat Sports history as the main event of Nacao Cyborg 15 when she defeated Pauliana Cardoza to become the WIBA world Champion making her the first athlete male or female to hold a significant world title in both Boxing and MMA at the same time.  WIBA has a long and prestigious history in the sport of Women’s Boxing with former WIBA world champions including Laila Ali, Amanda Serrano, and Holly Holm. Cris Cyborg was long rumored to cross over into the Misfits Boxing ring prior to Jully Poca’s signging with Most Valuable Promotions.  With a big fight between Cris Cyborg and Claressa Shields on the table, perhaps this isn’t the last we will see of Cris Cyborg and the Misfits Boxing promotion.
