16x MMA Grand Slam Champion and current Bellator MMA Featherweight Champion will make her return to the sport of Professional Women’s Boxing with a Main Event bout against the #3 ranked female fighter in the USA, Kelsey Wickstrum on January 19th,2024 at the Pechanga Resorts Casino in Temecula California with World Fighting Championships 163.
Cyborg who is currently ranked as the #1 Pound for Pound female fighter in the Bellator MMA promotion will be looking for her third fight in the sport of boxing. Winning the FMS Championship belt against Simone Silva in Brazil last year, Cyborg followed that performance with a 4 round victory over Gabrielle Holloway. Currently ranked 43rd in the World by Box Rec, Cyborg will be looking to continue building her Boxing Resume with a victory over Kelsey Wickstrum.
Kelsey Wickstrum is currently ranked #3 in the USA by Box Rec and is undefeated as a professional making her debut in 2021 with a 6 round victory over Stevie Jane Coleman and is coming off a KO victory of Sudana Moore last April. Wickstrum who is two years younger than Cyborg would be looking to put herself in title contention with a victory over Cyborg.
