Friday Night the PFL made their return to Univeresal Studios as the opening round of the PFL MMA World Tournament continued on ESPN. Featuring the middleweights and the lightweights PFL 1st round 3 did not disappoint for the 2025 season. The main event featured Fabian Edwards put away a very game Impa Kasanganay in a back and forth fight via a 2nd round TKO/KO after a flying knee and punches landed for Edwards.
Gadzhi Rabadanov made quick work of former UFC fighter Marc Diakiese needing just 32 seconds to land the KO punch and GNP needed to stop the fight. Dalton Rosta continued the dominance for the fomer Bellator MMA roster as he scored a 2nd round Darce submission over Sadibou Sy. Perhaps the performance of the night belonged to Jay Jay Wilson who moved to 11-1 with is dominant win over former UFC fighter Mads Burnell.
Alfie Davis defeated Clay Collard, Josh Silveira picked up a win over Mike Shipman, Brent Primus defeated Cris Cyborg training partner Vinicius Chambino Cenci with only 8 seconds left in the fight via RNC, and Aaron Jeffery picked up a split decisin win over Murad Ramazanov the opening bout.
Overall the night of mixed martial arts action was great, PFL MMA production continues to improve and the matchmaking was on fire for this event!
