The professional fighters league realizes that the sport of mixed martial arts really is a global sport, perhaps better than anyone. The PFL announced this week that they are going to continue their aggressive global expansion with their 4th international league which will be the PFL Pacific.
The PFL Pacific will highlight the tremendous amount of MMA talent found in Austarlia and New Zealand and will be broadcast with a blue chip media partner in Nine Australia featuring coverage across Stan Sports, 9Now, and the 9Network making the PFL the premier Oceana event with year around access to world class MMA.
PFL Australia will be featured on Stan Sport with select premium events available on Stan PPV. PFL events will allso be able to be streamed free on 9Now and broadcast free-to air on the 9 Network which will include live fights, archived events, highlights, and other exclusive content.
Cris Cyborg who is the current PFL MMA World Champion had this to say about the announcement “PFL MMA recognizes the global growth of the sport of MMA and understands the global talent that is developing. I am excited to see Australia under the PFL promotional banner, I am expecting a fight with Australian Sara Collins and realize just how close the sport is to becoming a nuclear sensation in that country.”
