Liz Carmouche is a pioneer in WMMA and was part of a new era of women fighters after making her debut in 2010 on the regional scene securing wins over Valentina Shevchenko and Colleen Shneider before suffering her first losses to all time greats Sara Kaufman and Marloes Coenen.
Following back-to-back wins with Invicta FC Carmouche then faced Ronda Rousey and almost finished the fight with a RNC attempt early before being caught in an armbar late in the first round. A decision loss to Valentina in 2019 Carmouche joined Bellator MMA as a Free Agent in 2020.
Carmouche has now established herself as one of the most dominant Bellator MMA fighters ever with 7 consecutive wins now about to enter her 4th year without a defeat. During that time she has beaten Flyweight stars like Ilima Lei Macfarlane, DeAnna Bennett (2x), Juliana Velasquez (2x), Vanessa Porto, and Kana Watanabe–literally all of the names in the division. Now entering fresh blood, Carmouche will move into the PFL million dollar tournament which starts this week in San Antonio Texas.
Part of the great new content featuring Liz Carmouche is the Fight Camp Confidential series: Liz Carmouche last fought at UFC 300 in San Antonio, while Cyborg is still waiting for a bout agreement and a fight date for Larissa Pacecho. Unable to get an MMA bout sooner, Cyborg is returning to Boxing April 27th as the Main Event in Green Bay Wisconsin with The Green Bay Fight Night.
