Movsar Evloev is 10-0 in the UFC and 20-0 in his career, but is he next in line for a UFC Championship fight? With all 10 of his fights being won by decision, the UFC is pushing for Evloev to change his style to a “more fan friendly” fighting style. Lerone Murphy was 9-1-1 in the UFC and hoping to gain a title shot with a win, however after a close fight it would appear Movsar Evloev could be next.
The two foughts in a closely contested bout with the judges and social media largely disagreeing on the win. The Russian will now look to face Alexander Vokanovski if the UFC decides not to make Jean Silva the contender. Judge Clemens Warner called the fight a 47-47 draw while Ben Cartlidge and Derek Cleary gave the fight a 48-46 decision for Evloev.
The CO Main event saw Luke Riley pic up a decision and Michael Venom Page (MVP) scored a decision over former training partner Sam Petterson in a fight that left fans wanting more action. Iwo Baraniewski defeated Austin Lane by TKO at .28 of the 1st round. CLD Chrisitan Leroy Duncan was able to hand Roman Dolidze a loss while Team Bloodlines athlete Danny Silva scored an upset TKO win over Kurtis Campbell.
Other winners on the night included Mason Jones over Ael Sola, Nathaniel Wood over Losene Keita, Mario Pinto earning a decision over Felipe Franco, Mantas Kondratavicius picking up a decision over Antonio Trocoli. Brandon Pericic scored a 1st round Heavyweight win over Louie Southerland by TKO while Palestinian fighter Abdul Kareem Al Selwady scored a decision over Shaqueme Rock. The opening fight of the night saw Shanelle Dyer defeat Ravena Oliveira.
