Just days away from Bellator 200 and it appears as if the event has lost one of the major fights for the event. Originally planned as the main event Roy Nelson was to face former K-1 Grand Prix winner and current RIZIN FF Grand Prix champion Mirko Crown Cop, however according to Gareth Davis of The Telegraph Mirko Cro Cop has been forced out of the competition due to a leg injury.
According to the Telegraph Bellator is still attempting to find a replacement fighter for Roy Nelson to compete against, which is no easy task considering that the Bellator 200 event is scheduled for this weekend. There is no word yet who the top contenders for a replacement could be, however Ryan Bader just had a relative quick win against King Mo and Is considered an option.
In ordre for that to happen, Bader would have to get to London England in time for Thursday’s weigh ins. The fights will be live Friday Night, however due to the nature of the Bellator broadcast on Paramount TV will not be shown live, rather a tape delay. Overall the card is stacked featuring Gegard Mousasi, Rafael Carvalho, Venom Page, David Rickles, Phil Davis, and Linton Vassell. British reality TV star Aaron Chalmers and Russian prospect Anastasia yankova are also scheduled to compete Friday in England.
