BKFC Knuckle Mania made the huge splash in California with their debut Bare Knuckle event which featured a main event between two UFC contenders in Mike Perry and Thiago Alves. Alves who once faced GSP for the UFC Welterweight belt and held his own World Title in Bareknuckle Boxing was no match for Mike Perry who sit him down early in the 1st round to score the KO victory.
The Co main event saw Heavyweight Champion Mick Terrill earn a TKO victory over Lorenzo Hunt who dislocated his arm on a fall after being knocked to the ground with a punch. Hunt who owns the Cruiserweight and Light Weight belt was hoping to move up to Heavyweight to become a 3 division champion. With the loss Hunt is now 10-2 in BKFC.
Big Ben Rothwell made quick work of Todd Duffee who appeared to want out of the fight early claiming a shoulder injury just 43 seconds into the first round. Rothwell is a big heavyweight and now 3-0 inside BKFC. Fight of the night went to Alfredo Angulo and Jeremiah Riggs as the bout only lasted 93 seconds but was an absolute war before Angulo the former Olympic boxer from Mexico landed the KO shot.
Other winners included Julian Lane, Crystal Pittman, David Jordan, Andrew Angelcor, Daniel Alvarez, Vincent Familari, Keith Richards and Tommy Aaron. Cyborg who was rumored to be in negotiations to fight Christine ‘Misfit’ Ferea unfortunately that bout failed to materialize.
